Stage 1 Wings UNDERCONSTRUCTION

The constuction of the wings are base upon the original design ( see Design - Home -> Design - page) where the skeleton constructed of ribs that are joined by a rod crossing it from tip to tip. This actual pictures are the first prototype wings which consisted of a very large wing area of almost 1,880 square inches. These design was being made with the Aerodesign 2006 rules but upon august the new rule book for the competition was published and a new 1,000 square inch wing plantform limit was reached. There ment a new wing design nedeed to be done in less than a week and construction needed to be started right away.

As stated in figure 4 and 5 due to the rule change of the wing area plantform the project is dangerouly close to being behind scheadule. This forces a new plan of attack and project scheadule in order to finish the project ( Including, analysis, report, usersmanual, webpage, among other) by October 28, 2006.
