The birth of MICADARO ME-94

The name MICADARO comes from the first 2 letters of the students involved in the Aerodseign project, Michael, Carlos, Daniel and Roberto.  The ME-94 plays a role of model design and comes from the Polytechnic University Engineering Capstone Design ID Code. The first baby steps of MICADARO ME-94 where given around the beginning of March where the first protoype designs were being drawn on RC Cad (a rather easy to work with cad simulator for RC planes)

As seen in figire 1, the ME-94 design implemented a base along the boom of the aircraft where the payload will be mounted on. This idea was quickly erased due to the fact that the wieght distribution and aerodinamics of the plane were not optimal. Also the limitations of the plane during this time of year were 94 inches tip to tip ( The limitations of the wings change on a year to year basis) We will talk more about limitations further on.

As our research expanded we learned that details on the wings like diheral angle and wing tips played a big role in plane stability and lift efficiency. It was during this time where the wings started to implement a differnt journey.
